Our hard wax is meticulously chosen to be aluminum-free and rosin-free, making it the perfect choice for sensitive skin. Additionally, our hypoallergenic hard wax is fragrance-free, catering to those with extra sensitivities. The unique advantage of hard wax lies in its ability to adhere to the hair and not the skin, providing a more comfortable and less abrasive waxing process.

Preparing for my wax appointment

  • Hair Length

    Ensure that your hair is at least a quarter-inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for optimal waxing results. Avoid shaving for at least two to three weeks prior to your appointment to allow enough hair growth.

  • Exfoliation

    Gently exfoliate the area to be waxed a day or two before your appointment. This helps remove dead skin cells and can prevent ingrown hairs.

  • Clean Skin

    On the day of your appointment, make sure the skin is clean and free of any lotions, oils, or makeup. This helps the wax adhere better to the hair for more effective removal.

  • Stay Hydrated

    Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin is more supple and less prone to irritation during waxing.

  • Take Pain Reliever (Optional)

    If you're concerned about discomfort during waxing, you can take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen 30 minutes to an hour before your appointment. Always follow the recommended dosage.

  • Communicate Any Medications or Allergies

    Inform your esthetician about any medications you're taking or allergies you have. Certain medications and skincare products can make your skin more sensitive, so it's important to disclose this information beforehand.
